Nobu is the Holiday Goddess Old Faithful. And it’s still the Critic’s Pick at New York Magazine after all these years. But what about New York’s hippest restaurants, which change all the time?
ABC is New York’s cult homewares store, and ABC Kitchen is the attached organic restaurant. The herbs come from the rooftop garden. The produce is fair-trade, pesticide-free and locally sourced. We like Heirloom Tomato Toast ($12) for casual winter dining. Or the Pretzel Dusted Calamari with marinara and mustard aioli ($13).
