ARIES: Mars your ruling planet of leadership and competition takes command again this month encouraging you to get creative and more self expressive in an area of life that involves romance, children, or a self styled project. Wisely you took the first couple of months of 2010 to review how to put your best foot forward and now from the 10th its green light go, right through ‘til June. The 7th holds some charming promise and fulfilment of desires, a perfect time to go on a date. This could herald an interesting phase of relating up to the 17th, when you will need to keep a check on what you say that’s purely self-oriented; if you forget to think about the other person involved, communications could be difficult. The Sun moves into your sign on the 20th and you’re likely to feel an urge to get innovative in love and romance and make something happen that’ll help you shine, even if there are some problematic boundaries and rules set up by a partner. The last week of the month you’ll learn about your need to be self-reliant and make your own rules, as opposed to being too focussed on a partner, leading up to the full moon on the 30th
 

TAURUS: Love given to you can often be a sudden surprise when least expected, as on the 4th. This leads quite nicely towards improved relating and expression of desires all round, especially on the 7th, when you’re happy to get involved, even though there’s a secretive element to proceedings and stuff going on behind the scenes. Make sure pleasure doesn’t upset the responsible work path you’ve been cutting out on the 9th, or you might have to set up an ultimatum and cut things off on the 11th. Most of this month can be spent in quiet reflection about the past and how maybe sometimes you didn’t fully express yourself when you could have. A love for someone will still best be kept undercover, although you’ll be able to help them and show your love in other ways. Greater sensitivity has beneficial rewards for your reputation on the 29th and the full moon on the 30th shows you the importance of dedicating yourself towards service and work and keeping on the path you’ve now chosen.
 

GEMINI: There’s a general musing and pondering about your life direction and reputation in the first half of this month, particularly around the 8th when an opportunity is offered to you; try not to leave your answer too long. The 14th is a good time to make an important decision about where you’re heading in terms of career. On the 17th your ruler mercury changes sign into Aries and jolts your plans into action which might be more social than responsible, the only trouble being, there’s a whole load of creative ties and boundaries that now seem to be holding you back, especially on the 18th. Grit and determination to make radical changes and transformations over any previous obstacles will see you act tough on the 20th; remember your overall theme at the moment is to get better and original ideas and thoughts manifested (in a fun way preferably), along with taking the opportunity to enhance your status wherever possible. A long term project that you’ve decided to start in the last few months still needs some sober responsible dedication behind it to make it work. 
 

CANCER: The new moon on the 15th begins a phase where you might feel its time to expand your horizons a bit further; reconnecting with old friends and travelling partners will help you get a better perspective on life, and remember that a long journey can also be taken in the imagination, or for that matter in the classroom. Educating and qualifying yourself for something takes up one of central themes this year, and will help you shine in the long run. Deep down there’s a feeling to organise your house, family and domestic arrangements, which could appear to present several problems and obstacles, not least from a partner who could be very obsessive or tough to deal with. But a little bit of grit under a sea shell can often produce a pearl, so if you prepare yourself for some maturing challenges, you’ll be doing fine. With Mars in Leo, you’ve had some drive to build up your own personal resources and this energy will flow giving you refreshed creative desires to make your way especially after the 10th. The 30th sees a full moon which highlights a professional situation and how you are seen in the world. Being pioneering is a good thing, but you still have a lot of feelings and sensitivities that need protecting.
 

LEO: This month sees the fiery part of you which has seen you acting proud and confident over something you’ve created start to motivate you again, especially from the 10th; mars the planet of competition urges you to take centre stage and use available energy to shine at what you’re best at. Sometimes this could see you easily able to express anger or frustration, so it’s advisable to curb too much forcefulness. The main focus of the month is on shared resources, which might be a little more vague and undirected than you’d like. When you’re busy being yourself and showing out your best qualities, ensuring financial security can sometimes be overlooked, though on the 17th a long awaited surprise could radically change things for you, and put you in an excitingly good mood. The shift should be quite noticeable as you start to think more broadmindedly as well as preparing yourself to work harder and dedicate yourself to something from the 18th-20th . The 21st sees you all fired up and ready to go for what you believe in, even if it seems to restrict you from people close to you. The full moon on the 30th brings a holiday or trip abroad into focus, somewhere you’re heading to now will become a major focussing point in the future. 

VIRGO: This month brings a relationship into focus and teaches you once again about going with the flow and letting go rather than keeping order is seemingly the only option. You’re learning a lot this year about the sort of people you draw into your life, especially on the 8th, when a new opportunity appears that is there for the taking. The 14th and 15th see you making a decision about someone who may have links to you going back into the past, remember a fresh attitude and surprisingly different way of perceiving them will help. This in turn leads you to the weighty and laboured thoughts around the 18th-20th when a pressing issue of money resurfaces, with the added obstacle of what you really want to do to be creative in this world, which could have a focus on children. Your work ethic is strong and honourable, but love will eventually win over money.
 

LIBRA: The big questions this month seem to focus on how best to conduct your working life, and what duties need to be kept in balance? You’ve got a golden opportunity to enhance your lifestyle and maybe adopt new healthy habits, especially on the 4th and again on the 8th, although trying to satisfy a partner’s wishes on the 9th could get in the way of your more serious intentions; this in turn could lead to some all-or-nothing ultimatum with a focus on your relationship and your home life; something’s having to give way. As the rest of the month develops it seems you’ll be learning a lot about what you require to make a partnership happy: when your other half is forthright and taking the lead, do you feel happier? This leads up to the 29th when you can be a little vague and mystical for some loving fun, and the full moon on the 30th which is the deciding point of any recent tensions in your relationship, of course letting your partner win, even if its just in words, will keep both sides happy.
 

SCORPIO: There’s a lot of focus this month on how much you can improve your life by being more self expressive and creative, particularly with your children, or in a romantic situation. After all dear Scorpio, you are an emotional water sign and maybe you’ve hidden your feelings for far too long! Letting stuff out can be pleasantly cathartic and will help you define what you want so much better. Dates for all this include the 4th, 7th and 8th. The real trick to surviving this month is to get a better understanding of how sensitive you can be around your reputation and public status. Mars has been in Leo for a few months now, and on the 10th you’ll start to feel its energy again affecting your desires to carve a career for yourself. It can be a challenge to be seen as confident and outgoing when in fact your extremely reflective and emotional; nevertheless push on and you’ll feel a motivating force building up. Pay attention to your feelings on the 11th, jealously and envy are Scorpio traits that once understood are best transcended; Watch what you say on the 20th , no need to dig too deep for an answer. Also watch what happens at work with co-workers on the 26th, you might want to change the environment around you, but don’t be too intense and recognised for being ruthless. 

SAGITTARIUS: This month brings a focus on your home life and domestic arrangements. You’ve got a golden opportunity becoming apparent which helps you expand into your family role, even though understanding your roots can be quite a challenge to your usual optimistic and vivacious approach to life. Look out for an important message or communication with a family member around the 8th and allow for some radical new ways of thinking and operating differently around the home on the 14th-17th. From the 20th the planetary emphasis shifts towards your children or a creative project and your natural encouragement keeps things buoyant and constantly evolving, even though there maybe pressing money problems and career issues, which require you to make changes in the way you take the initiative. Mars planet of desire and action is in the area of your chart to do with foreign travel and learning; after a long review of various options, from the 10th your confidence, drive and self –assurance about a particular issue is highlighted again, and in the long run will help you to be yourself.
 

CAPRICORN: Your focus this month is on your ideas and the inspiration you get from them, particularly when relating to people close to you or siblings. Around the 8th an opportunity seems to be there for you to learn something new, although a friend or loved one might seem to block your progress on the 9th, which brings back a current problem on the 11th based around independence and career. This triggers you to have a radical and surprising change of mind between 14th-17th so that you can state your intentions on the 18th to the 20th, however hard and tough that might be. Deep down you recognise you want to be a leader and pioneering in your own (specialist) field; others will recognise this in you around the 21st-26th, and culminating with the full moon on the 30th.
 

AQUARIUS: This month’s focus is on your personal resources and how that is intrinsically linked to your sense of self worth and self value. The way you like to do things dear Aquarius, is different and unique to everybody else, and you can take security in knowing that. An opportunity for you to expand, maybe through purchasing or selling something occurs around the 8th which in turn makes you see how quickly and surprisingly you can change the way you view yourself and your values between the 14th-17th. Your closest friend and partner has been putting out lots of energy on a project which they’ve also had to review at times because they may have been too overconfident and showy in their true abilities. From the 10th you’ll find them bouncing a lot off of you, sometimes possibly being a bit too ‘Tigger’ for your liking. If they’re heating up too much and pushing your own headspace, helping them ground their energy by being rational and thoughtful will be appreciated. A tough learning curve that you’ve set out on might be too challenging, as you really enjoy thinking more independently, and this could cause you some strife around 21st-26th leading a confrontation of what you think verses what everyone else thinks on the 30th full moon. 

PISCES: This month brings a focus on you being you, your general approach and your appreciation of being able to be independent. You’re developing an interesting new set of beliefs or philosophies this year that you are happy to represent, particularly around the 8th.  There might be a little conflict around finances between what you’d like and what you actually get between the 9th-11th which leads you to make a surprisingly break away move and stand alone between the 14th and 17th. This sudden move could turn you to think more deeply around the 18th-20th about your values; as a Pisces your inspire people, but do you get your just rewards? Being recognised for this and wanting to make a change, even though the current climate seems full of obstacles and difficulties becomes a priority on 21st-26th, leading to the full moon on the 30th, by which time you might be thinking you should do things for yourself rather than rely on other people.
