COMO Shambhala has to be one of the most beautiful, serene and thoughtful retreat/resorts I have ever been to. Guests are treated like royalty . Your own personal assistant for the entire stay to ensure you have everything you need, do as much or as little as you want or to ask that question you weren't sure how to follow up. The walk down to the river is amazing with comfy day-beds set among pools of natural spring-water. The spa is out of this wold, and the food to die for. This retreat is the clost thing to heaven in this world. A 'must do' for anyone in need of some indulgent de-stressing.

I recently made a return visit to COMO Shambhala Estate with some friends. To my delight, it was even better second time around. I climbed Batur volcano for a sunrise walk (yes, a very early start). More about that in my future updates on Holiday Goddess.
